Explore Your Drama was a 5-day performance lab held from 1st-5th October 2018 for refugee and asylum seeker women to help them develop their writing and drama skills.
The lab featured women from Bangladesh, Iran, Eritrea, Albania, Nigeria and Guatemala.
The project was led and facilitated by Fereshteh Mozzafari Vanani along with writer Dipali Das and visual artist Sophia Gardiner. It was commissioned by ArtReach, led by Sheba Arts and supported by HOME as part of Journeys Festival International Manchester.
Sally performs a traditional dance from Guatemala.
The dance is a harvest celebration dance of thanksgiving.

Nasim performs a traditional dance from Northern Iran (with Aurela and Ligjirie).
This dance is performed by women giving thanks for the rice harvest.
