Sheba Arts Exhibition at the Old Courts during Wigan Arts Festival, March 2026
We were proud to participate in the Wigan Arts Festival with the launch of our exhibition at the Old Courts on 21st March 2026, showcasing artworks created during our workshops across Wigan and Leigh. These wellbeing and creative workshops have been delivered in various locations across Wigan borough including Kingsleigh Community Centre in Leigh, Wigan Library and SWAP Wigan.
The launch event featured live performances by poet Natasha Tingle and musician Martim Pocinho, alongside a community activity decorating paper feathers for our upcoming summer festival in Longsight Art Space.
Attendees described the event as “great,” “amazing,” with “great vibes,” highlighting the joy of coming together and connecting with others. The live poetry and music were highly praised, often called “incredible and moving,” “uplifting,” and “fantastic”. Visitors also enjoyed the lovely variety of performances and the impressive display of artwork created throughout the project.
All these incredible photos were made by our Production and Filmmaking Trainee - Evelyn.
