Sheba Festival 2022

This is our fourth annual festival that happens across different venues and towns in Greater Manchester. This year, we have made partnerships with a range of community groups and artists from across the North to bring a vibrant and diverse festival to your doorstep. This year’s festival theme is “Migration and Climate Change” with different art forms, workshops and food events. Out youth programme in Manchester and Climate Action for mothers and children in collaboration with SAWN in Oldham have already begun.
We will annouce the dates of the events soon.

Launching in Chadderton, Oldham on 23th April, this project brings together mothers and children aged 5-12 to learn new skills in painting and upcycling furniture. The aim of this project is to learn about the environmenta benefits of upcycling.
Today’s society is a throwaway lifestyle and we need to teach our youth to re-use, recycle, upcycle, and stop the waste that is killing our planet every breath we take. The outcome of the workshops will be shared with the public in June. Final sharing day TBC.
