The festival aimed to celebrate the accomplishments of our first-year Wigan Outreach Programme and to explore Nowruz, the Persian/Kurdish New Year. This event was planned by Sheba Arts in collaboration with the Turnpike Gallery and Leigh Library, funded by Wigan Council and Community Fund. The programme included an exhibition of the artwork produced at our drop-in workshops at SWAP from July to December 2024, arts and crafts, drama and daf workshops, as well as poetry and music performances. We had a lovely audience from different ages and backgrounds, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that truly showcased the diversity and talent within our community!
