Iqra Saied

Digital Media and Outreach Trainee
Iqra  is a first-class graduate in BA (Hons) Photography, specialising in portrait and social documentary photography. Her work focuses on creating meaningful visual projects that engage audiences and explore identity, culture, and community through storytelling. She is interested in using photography and digital media as tools for representation, connection, and social engagement, and in developing creative work that reflects diverse voices and lived experiences.
She has developed her creative and digital skills through a content creation course with HEADS at Factory International, gaining insight into social media and online engagement. She is currently working as a Photography Assistant at Breaking Barriers in Rochdale, where she supports creative projects and continues to build practical experience within the arts and cultural sector.
As a Digital Media and Outreach Trainee at Sheba Arts, she is interested in combining creativity with communication to reach wider audiences through digital platforms. She is keen to develop skills in social media, content creation, outreach, and digital analytics, and to learn how storytelling can be used to build and connect communities online.

She is drawn to Sheba Arts for its strong commitment to representation, inclusivity, and creating safe spaces for artists, and is excited to contribute her visual skills while growing professionally within the creative industries.
