​Evelyn Adesina

Production and Filmmaking Trainee
​

​A multidisciplinary creative working across theatre, film, photography, and digital media, with a strong passion for storytelling and community engagement. Her lifelong dedication to the arts has driven her to continuously develop skills and explore new ways to use creativity as a tool for connection and communication.

As a Production and Filmmaking Trainee with Sheba Arts, Evelyn gained practical experience across event and festival delivery, supporting live projects, coordination, and behind-the-scenes production processes. She was particularly interested in understanding how creative events are planned, delivered, and promoted, and how production teams collaborate to create meaningful and inclusive cultural experiences.

She developed skills in creating Gantt charts, planning storyboards, and supporting a range of projects. During her training, she filmed two of our events, supported outreach activities and workshops, and helped set up the exhibition at The Old Courts in Wigan.

​Evelyn contributed to the team during the Winter Social, where she assisted with filming and editing the final video. You can watch the video below, don't forget to like and comment.

Evelyn was a great support to our team throughout Sheba Festival 2026. She helped develop storyboards for a series of short reels featuring our commissioned artists, as well as for the festival's promotional video.

She also filmed interviews and edited the promo video, which gave her the opportunity to build her skills and gain valuable hands-on experience throughout the process. She approached every task with enthusiasm and was always willing to learn and take on new challenges.

During the festival, Evelyn continued to be a huge help by managing the exhibition space for two days. She looked after the space, welcomed visitors, and made sure everything ran smoothly.

It was a pleasure having Evelyn as part of the team. She was reliable, creative, and always happy to help. She worked professionally and independently, took initiative when needed, and was a valued member of the team throughout the festival.

My experience was amazing. I got to work with a very dedicated team that listens and cares about your development. I think it is a very good programme and I hope that there are many more opportunities for other creatives to get this experience as well.
​It was educational, impactful and valuable.
