Exploring “New World in the Making” with Malgorzata Drohomirecka and

Magdalena Kij.

At Sheba Arts, we believe art is more than expression - it is resistance, healing, and community building.
In our latest podcast episode, “New World in the Making”, we sit down with two incredible artists, Malgorzata Drohomirecka and Magdalena Kij, to explore how art, identity, patriarchy, and anarcha-feminism intersect in powerful ways.

About the Episode:

Released in July 2025, this episode dives deep into the role of art in shaping alternative futures.
Both artists discuss their recent project:

  • Malgorzata’s exhibition Junctures at Rogue Artists’ Studios, where she reflects on migration, identity, and intersectionality through visual storytelling.

  • Magdalena’s performance Liberation in Progress, a bold exploration of embodiment, resistance, and freedom.

Together, they explore patriarchal structures, power dynamics, and anarcha-feminist thought, asking how art can challenge oppression and create space for liberation.

Why It Matters:

Sheba Arts exists to platform underrepresented voices and to highlight how art connects to well-being, identity, and social justice. This episode reminds us that art is not passive—it actively questions, disrupts, and reimagines our world.

For anyone interested in:

  • Feminist and anarcha-feminist movements
  • Migrant artists
  • The intersection of art, identity, and activism
